2019 saw Habberley's first Flower Show

St Mary's church was the setting for Habberley's first September flower festival, which proved to be a resounding success. A grade II listed building, St Mary's dates from about the 13th Century and was largely rebuilt in the Victorian era.

The deep gouge marks in the south door archway are reputed to be from chisels sharpened during the Civil War.

The history of St. Mary's meant it was the perfect venue to host the flower festival. It was a weekend to remember, from the evening of choir singing, to the lovely flower displays in the church and the afternoon tea and cakes in the sunshine (yes it was warm and sunny!)
